The Splendours of the Verdon
About 20 kilometers from the Domaine de Taulane, go to Castellane to observe the Gorges of the Verdon, which unveil an astonishing and superb landscape. The canyon stretches over 175 km, with cliffs that culminate, in some places, at 700 meters high, and is the bed of the Verdon river, whose green, emerald color contributes to the beauty of the site. Take the route des crêtes, to admire the Verdon gorges, along the different viewpoints.
Do not miss a trip to discover the lakes of the Verdon (Esparron, Quinson, Sainte-Croix, Castillon), which will be the setting for summer swimming, but also for water sports activities.

From Nice
Take the A8 freeway ;
Take the exit Cannes-Grasse, until Grasse ;
Go through Grasse and follow the D6085 in the direction of Digne ;
Pass the villages of Saint-Vallier de Thiey, Escragnolles, Villaute ;
Continue straight on for about 2 km, until you reach the Logis du Pin ;
The Chateau is on the left, at the crossroads of the road to Saint Auban.
From Marseille
Take A8 freeway ;
Take the exit Le Muy-Draguignan ;
Follow the direction of Draguignan ;
At the 3rd traffic circle, turn right (direction Figanières-Digne )
Continue straight on towards Figanières then Canjuers ;
Follow the direction Montferrat- Digne until the village Comps sur Artuby
Cross the village of La Bastide (on the D21), continue straight on until the crossing of the D21 and the D6085.
Continue until the roundabout D21 and D6085 ;
Follow the direction Castellane-Digne (DO NOT TURN LEFT TO GO TO « La Martre-Chateauvieux ») ;
At the next traffic circle turn left towards Castellane-Digne ;
The Chateau is 500 meters on the left.
The international airport of Nice is located at 1 h 30 of the Chateau de Taulane. It welcomes flights from many countries of France and the world.
The Grasse train station is located about 50 km from the Chateau de Taulane. It is served by TER trains from the PACA region and welcomes trains from Ventimiglia, Nice-Ville and Cannes.
The TGV station of les Arcs - Draguignan, 60 km from the 4-star Golf and Spa hotel, welcome daily TGV trains from Paris-Lyon, Lille-Europe, Brussels and Nice-Ville. It also welcomes TER trains from the PACA region.
